About The Pub

The Sun Tavern is perfectly situated just a 2-minute walk from Covent Garden tube station, offering a convenient escape from the buzz of London’s West End. With a charming Art-Deco vibe, it's the ideal spot for a social drink, catching up with friends, or enjoying a home-cooked meal by the roaring fire.

Our spacious upstairs bar and dining area provide a tranquil retreat. You are also able to reserve the bar exclusively making it the ideal event space, especially as we do not request a hire fee. We can seat up to 40 guests seated or up to 60 people standing and offer a fantastic buffet menu suited to all budgets!

We are proud of our freshly prepared, British pub menu. Where possible we use locally sourced suppliers and ingredients and whilst we make sure not to compromise on quality – our menu is excellent value for money

Our wine menu been carefully selected to offer a variety of both old and new world wines. We recommend you try the Chapel Down Brut NV. A great example of a classic English sparkling wine, grown and produced in Kent.

We had a hired space in The Sun Tavern. From the very beginning when planning this reservation, we were looked after; the management really went above and beyond to accommodate our expectations. Great food, good selection of drinks. Their staff is super friendly and very professional. If you are looking for a casual drink or something special to celebrate, look no further and book this place! Thank you for having us.

We popped in on a visit to London looking for somewhere to eat as a group of girls, with a child. The food was phenomenal, the menu had a good choice and was cooked fresh. The staff were very attentive, gave our child guest a kids menu with some crayons and activities (just want to highlight the pub was still a “pub” vibe, good atmosphere, not too “kiddy”). Good drinks, vibes, would definitely recommend! Thanks guys

I hosted a charity quiz at The Sun Tavern on 5th May. We had the upstairs to ourselves, the space was perfect. It’s such a nice pub, the food was great and the staff were lovely. Nick and Liz were really friendly and went out of their way helping us with all the technical issues we had with the quiz. I’d definitely recommend hosting any events here!
